In a kingdom where magic is common but equality isn't, Angeline was born a Princess. She was lucky to be a royal but unfortune to be a girl. She hid in the shadows of the halls learning everything she could about the ways of magic. Alone for most of her life she knew she had to be powerful to create change. Although she could be perceived as a girl who loved the rain and exploring the library, she was undeniably clever. After widespread news of a competition where future kings partake in, Angeline knew she had to participate. In this competition only those to make it to the end gain a powerful companion, a familiar. Angeline sets her heart to be able to enter the competition with her only friend.
