((This is a rewrite of the fanfiction, "The Jester And The Mystery," which I wrote.))
Some tales are never meant to be told. The reason? Well, I can only guess that there's a secret that must be taken to the grave by its participants. These stories are called The Forbidden Tales. Many of them lie with the dead or haunt the minds of those still living. The tale I'm writing could be considered one of these. However, in doing so, this forbidden tale is being released to... Oh, who knows? I surely don't. I will ask you, dear stranger, that you approach this story with an open mind. It may twist what you know and confuse you as to how I obtained the knowledge of these events, but rest assured the truth will be revealed. Now, allow me to bring you to where the story began: at the Hunter Exam.

The Magician's Secrets || HISOKA X OC ||
Kurumi Fas (OC), a former Zoldyck butler, has just escape from an arena/human trafficking ring by the name of Eden. Now, she is on the hunt for a partner to help her seek revenge. Someone who can do what she cannot - kill. Believing that the Hunter's Exam will be as good a place as any to find this accomplice, she enrolls in this year's exam. The people she meets, one magician in particular, lead her down a new life of freedom, fun, and quite a bit of lust. This story is a Hisoka x OC story that will run through the entire show and manga, including parts from the One Shot: Hisoka's Past. I will do my best to keep everything cannon, please feel free to correct me if I mess up something. Content warning: This story is rated mature for a reason. There will be mention (no details though) of human trafficking, fight scenes with descriptive gore, and a healthy dose of smut of course ;) In chapters with sex scenes, I will give a warning (or clue, depending on what you're here for) at the top of the chapter. These chapters will also have 🍋 or 🌶️ in the title. Of course, none of the original Hunter x Hunter characters or storyline are my own. Adeluna Freecss is a woman of very few, yet ruthless words. Being alone, keeping her shield up, keeping her secrets, never ending rivalry with one of her brothers, and staying by her mother's side was the life she was content on living. After the gruesome murder of her mother, Adeluna finds herself on a mission to complete the Hunter Exam and becoming a Crime Hunter and find the person who killed her mother. However, she finds out from her mother's will that she is engaged to a man she doesn't even know from her mother's past. When their paths cross, she soon learns that they are a very unlikely pair and that she is stuck with this man for the rest of her life. Hisoka's interest
This will be a Hisoka x OC story, sorry it was gonna be x Reader but I get jealous :3. Will not be your tradition Hisoka story. My oc Veladandra, the highly skilled weapon and nen user. Meets Hisoka, another skilled fighter, on her way to the Hunter Exam. Hisoka seems to find interest in her and sticks around for the exam. After being thoroughly impressed in the final phase, he decided he doesn't want to part yet. There the true adventure starts, where will his interest in the girl lead him? And does she return an interest in him? The shows story line will be followed for the majority, but certain things I'm going to change a lot. I've only watched what's on Netflix so far but by the time I get there I'm sure I'll have watched the rest.
