This story is about a girl who basically hated her life because of the experiences she had at a very early age. Even though there were a lot of people who left her, there were some who stood by her. But in this Teen fiction when people gave up on there own lives and one another, will Maya would be able to survive it? And even if she will, things will never be the same maybe in a good way but there's no surety of it as it is life only takes a few seconds to change everything. In this story of friendship, love, and harassment, I hope that my way of writing sickness out will be a cure for your problems. Kate was used to dealing with unfair consequences. Having a less than ideal home life and no one else to support her, she had learned to deal with things on her own. She had learned not to feel and especially not to hope. So when someone new comes into her life Kate does the best thing she can think of, she shuts them out. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself. Explain why she was so guarded and why she had closed herself off in the first place. And maybe along the way Kate learns that things aren't always so bad.
