Ava and Roman have been best friends since their official "forever" friends pinky promise in the park the day they met. Ava also made a pact- a promise at 18 to Roman that she'd marry him if he wasn't married by 30, although Ava only did so to make her friend feel better. Of course they pinky promised on that sealing the deal. Soon after Roman moves away and comes back 11 years later. Does he still remember the promise? After all pinky promises are forever.
