Was originally called 'Broken Mate'.

Normality was something Gem would never understand, for her life was anything but normal.
But to her, the abuse, the bullying it was all normal for her.

What wasn't normal though was when she met Chase, the immediate attraction, the connection, it all confused her but what confused her the most was why it hurt badly when he rejected her.

What wasn't normal was when she found out that there is more to her then the eye meets, that Chase isn't even human..that everything around her was a lie to keep her hidden from the evils of the super natural world.

But then again the truth never stays hidden forever.. Secrets will be revealed, lies will be told, blood will be shade...and drank.
