Hazel Levesque has rarely been out in the real world since she and the rest of the seven saved the world. When Frank suggests that she starts a mortal high school that just so happens to be the same high school that Julie of Julie and the Phantoms goes to, Hazel quickly gets involved in their world as she realizes that when you're a demigod, a normal high school experience isn't going to happen. When she discovers that Jason Grace never crossed over to go to Elysium, Hazel, along with the help of Julie, Flynn, the ghosts she hangs out with, and her demigod friends, has to simultaneously figure out high school, help Jason figure out his unfinished business, figure out how to be a good praetor, figure out mortal high school, and protect her new friends from an enemy she doesn't entirely understand.
