Hiccup believed he could change the mind of Drago Bludvist and show him that dragons aren't just beasts of war, he believed he could reason with a madman and bring the world to peace.

He was wrong.

And has now lost everything because of his pragmatism.

Scandinavia and all its Viking and dragon sympathizers are dead, the dragons who dwell there are enslaved to become mindless killers under the command of Drago and his warlords, and Berk is razed to the ground.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the last Viking in Scandinavia and is now consumed with anger, loss, sorrow, and vengeance. With nothing left for him in Scandinavia, Hiccup pursues Drago and his army, hellbent on exacting revenge on the man who destroyed his entire world and slaughtered everyone he's ever loved and cared for. This quest of vengeance will take Hiccup to lands he has never seen before, a land that is shattered and its people divided by war and distrust.

Either way, Hiccup will not rest until Drago Bludvist is dead and his loyalists join him in the afterlife.

So, Hiccup travels to Dragon Island to slay the Red Death, with the Queen of Dragons dead, Hiccup finds two eggs to the former alpha, he then raises them with the help of his Night Fury Toothless. Soon, Hiccup amasses tribes that were thought to be long gone and enemies of Berk to unite under one banner: The Red Maw. Together, they'll wage war against Berk and its allies in the Red War.

For twelve years of his life, he was forced to live with Viggo who works with a group of Outcasts all of which serve a much greater power. Viggo hated the child and took him only to get revenge on Stoick the Vast. He abused the boy, beating him almost to death multiple times, marking him with what he called ownership. Now, he's eighteen years old whose desperate to live his life. With so many people after him, his father forces Hiccup to stay on Berk until he finds a man whom he refuses to talk about. Hiccup begins to suffer from night terrors that make him want to stay along with battling his own mental condition. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III a teenage Viking who earn the ranks to kill his first ever Dragon in Dragon Training. He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? Never the less hiccup's dad and Astrid's parents would say about this?, how would the gang react? Find out........ A/N:I change the plot so do not refer this fiction to the franchise of this movie.
