The Metals, a race of strong, hardy people more focused on machines, and the Gems, a race of magically powered people. The gems tried to enslave the Metals, so the Metals fought back.
This story follows one group in their fight. Gold, Silver, Ebony, and others!

Noxford, the heart of the Educators, some higher Agriculture members, and higher-ranking members of Factory. Ashen City is the underbelly of the Empire where the rest of the Factory workers and Agriculture live. The poorest of the poor reside. Drexel Foster, an Ashen City citizen, an orphan at the age of 7 from an earthquake in the mines. Some say Nemora was angry that day for unknown reasons.
