Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy.
But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff.

*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. A Royal Adventure
(DONE) It's come across everyone's mind once or twice about why Remus Sanders is like the way he is. Even Remus himself has wondered why is he so different from Roman. If they're twins aren't they supposed to be similar. Why is it that Roman has green eyes and Remus has a dark red? Why is he so different. He thinks the only way to find out why he's so different is to go back to the Imagination Kingdom, break into the castle, go to the library and grab mother's old journal. A journal only the royal family is allowed to place their hands on. Roman, enjoying his time with Patton, Logan and Virgil wonders why his brother is so different too. When night falls, he goes into the library only to run into Remus. Remus tells Roman his plan and they team up to find answers. Which means they have to go on a journey together. Over this long journey, they get into intense fights, harsh arguments and brutal betrayals. The Royal Brothers meet with their old friend, talk about their own lives, while remembering old memories, old quotes and good sayings from their parents. They realize they have more in common than they thought. Yet when trouble lies ahead, do they finally put their differences aside for once or continue to fight and get the other one in trouble? From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same.
