"Just do it, coward, kill him!" her mother's assertive voice urged her. Kelcie started to give in, yielding to her mother's angry request and diverted her eyes to the prince.
She started to tremble, attempting to threaten the prince.
"I will kill you!" She cried out. She internally groaned because her voice gave away her weakness. She jerked her head slightly when the young prince began speaking firmly to her.
"Okay, then do it. Kill me. Why should I care?"
In slight confusion and grief, she directed her weapon to face the floor. She diverted her eyes towards the ground deciding on what she should do. She forced her eyes to look up at the man's face again. She whimpered in her agony. She couldn't do it.
