After being an absolute loser at her old school, Taylor's parents make her switch schools after finding out just how brutal her bullies were.

Taking the opportunity to reinvent herself, she buys new clothes and decides to start putting more effort into her hair and makeup.

But... being popular isn't just about looks. With low self esteem, social anxiety, and a few new enemies out to get her, can Taylor be the girl she's always wanted to be?

Taylor balances new friends, a new school, and a new social standing...all while trying not to get too caught up in all the male attention she is starting to get. Especially the attention from the captain of her co-ed soccer team.

Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. Warning: Contains mature language, sex, and topics of bullying, sexual assault/harassment, self-harm, and suicide

Ribbons In Her Blonde Hair

18 parts Ongoing

Two months into the rough whirlwind of high school, Adam Winters is already used to being the favorite target of fists and mockeries. Not everyone seems to be bugged by his quiet, eccentric nature, save for the 'pretty' ones. The ones with a comfortable background. The ones at the top. When the evidently attractive transfer becomes his seat neighbour for the rest of the semester, Adam is naturally wary---partly because of her brawny sibling in senior year, and partly because she meets all his criteria for people to avoid the most: pretty, rich, and popular. With an angelic smile, twinkling sapphire eyes and ribbons in her blonde hair, her persona screams perfection. A level he won't be able to achieve even in his quirkiest of daydreams---not like he'd ever want to. After all, despite her peculiar choice of friends and her persistent efforts to win his trust, isn't she just another potential bully? ••• (Word count per chapter: 2,300-3,000)
