Delilah Marie Gaurdell, she's anything but your typical sixteen year old. For so long, she's had to deal with her fathers abuse, hiding it from those around her. Everyday at school, she acts like she's fine, but she's not. She don't have any friends because she's too afraid of her father finding out, and she isn't in a relationship because she's afraid he'd find out about what her father does to her.
The only time she can get away from him is at school, she's too afraid that if she leaves the house and he finds out, he'll kill her. One day, the police show up to arrest her father, claiming that her neighbors had seen her father hitting her earlier that morning through the window.
After that, she moves to Blairsville, GA to live with her aunt, who didn't even know about her. A new school, a new life, and hopefully one thats not like the one she's lived until now.
And it certainly won't be. On the first day of school, she, literally, runs right into trouble while going for a walk through the forest next to her aunts house and straight into two wolves, who look like they're ready to pounce. She's saved by three wolves the jump out of the bushes. Then they turn into three ho t boys, who are clothe less, might I add. Thats right, she was saved by werewolves. Not only that, but one of them is the Alpha.
"Mate" the one in the middle says. Uh-oh, looks like Delilah's life just got more complicated. Will she find it in her to let him in, or shut him out like she has everybody else.
