Always living on the streets and willing to do anything to survive, Y/N roamed the streets of Mistral, robbing from the rich in order to provide a way of supporting the orphanage he was left at.

He didn't know who his parents were. The only thing he knew was that his father left him at a young age and his mother had left him a pendant before she died. On the run from Mistral, he finds himself in Vale, trying to steal from the Headmaster of Beacon Academy himself.

Taking Ozpin's offer, he heads to Beacon to redeem himself, but also finds a kitten who needed someone to lean on.
