Five kingdoms join one another at a ball, the fate of their kingdoms is up in the air and the tension is thicker than a dragon scale. A murder doesn't help ease either of those. Clover gets snuck into a ball by her gang of rapscallion friends in hopes of discovering more about herself and her past, but ends up with a lot more on her hands, like a murder, or two. In hopes of elevating her status and stopping a full blown out war, Clover has to maintain her secret identity and stop an assassin before her time at the Ball comes to an end.
