Moya is a young lady from Pontave, the protected area. In an unexpected turn of events, Moya and her cat find themselves on the other side where she finds that the legends and fairytales she heard as a child were not stories at all. Will Moya be able to survive on the other side? Or will she meet the same fate as the people who didn't qualify for Pontave? Who is this Mother whose voice echoes throughout the world sowing seeds? With everything else going on, why do events seem to fit a prophecy brought over from the Ancient world? And, just who in the world is Nick?
