Peace, Humanity, and Balance fuled the world of Sonata.. All was well til the Great Quake of the Heavens shook the world to torment. An inbalance in nature started to form, Druids breathed despair upon the regions, and lastly the many rune wars for power that shook this World to its knees.
Years later a divine group called the Ageis was formed from 5 of the major regions of Sonata to set the world straight, and put the wars to rest. From then on every year after The New World Order, The World of Sonata unites its 5 major regions again to hold a Championship in the land of Mithos to maintain its balance and to honor The Ageis.

Mana is the life force that exists in everything. Mana gives you conscious thought, unconscious thought, and is the source of all feelings and life. Mana levels in humans though are moderate and usually cannot be harnessed past the normal capabilities of a human body. When the grandfather he never met suddenly died, Shuei felt nothing but indifference. The feeling does not change when a lawyer suddenly shows up at his house with his grandfather's will. But as his grandfather's only surviving heir, Shuei had inherited a large house in Kyoto that his grandfather was the landlord and caretaker of. After being pressured by his mother, Shuei packs up and leaves Tokyo to move to Kyoto and to see the house he inherited...and the tenants who lived there. For the house is in fact a Gateway; a connection to a spiritual realm called Seirei-Kai, and the "landlord" of the house serves as the Gatekeeper to protect the Gateway. The tenants of the house are a race of people from Seirei-Kai called the Seishin. They are human in appearance but the Mana inside their bodies is one thousand times stronger than that in a human body. They are powerful and have longevity...but they are also a dying race. For all Seishin that have been born in the last eight hundred years have been male. With no women to grow their population, the Seishin have needed to take drastic and creative measures to have more children and to save their race. Measures that are not entirely working, as they continue to only have male offspring. Shuei doesn't want to be the Gatekeeper. He doesn't want to care about these people with whom his grandfather cared more for than his own family. Despite this he still finds himself drawn into the world and culture of the Seishin of Seirei-Kai...and all the drama that comes with it. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see.
