All fairytales are wonderful.
But their all so similar.
Most of the time it's a beautiful story of a princess trapped in a castle by the villain, then one day a handsome prince or mabey thief rescues them and they live happy ever after right???
Right. Not that their not amazing, their just all the same.
Trust me this time it's different, very different...
Still a lovely princess locked away in a castle, princess Ceera to be exact.
But what if the handsome, masculine rescuer turns out to be a scrappy assassin who is in fact a woman named Lara???
Would you kill me then? What if the "rescuer" was actually planning on assasinating the lovely princess????
What if I told you the truth to the story is the only reason the story ends in a happy ending is because the princess eventually has to save the assasin's life???
Would you kill me then???
If I'm alive by now and you haven't ditched my story for another stereotypical one (no hate if you do) then might I suggest giving it a read?????

The Dragon and the Princess
You all know the old fairy-tale's where an evil and cruel dragon kidnaps the princess because of her beauty and then knights in shinning armour arrives to save her. After saving her they get the half of the kingdom and marry the princess and lives happily ever after.. But this story is very different... There was once were a beautiful, kind princess named Lydia who got engaged to a prince, but the princess wasn't in love with him at all. One day as she was sleeping peacefully in her bed with her window opened, a dragon named Lithon attacked the kingdom. In it's attack on the kingdom the dragon flew to the castle and was going to destroy it from pure hatred for the royal family, but then he saw the princess through her open window. The dragon fell for her beauty immediately, so he decided to kidnap her, it would also be the perfect revenge on the royal family. So the dragon took the princess to his place, the princess was of course not happy about that and she did freak out. She didn't wanted to live with a dragon! But then, the dragon reached it's house and he changed into a handsome young man! Even though its forbidden for them to be together, the princess slowly fell for the dragon and the dragon fell for her.. but how will this fairy tale end..? like every other, where the prince comes and slay the dragon and gets the girl, or will it be different this time? Isn't it said that you should give away what you don't use? After losing my life, I became the Villainess in a novel I didn't even finish. That was alright; I had asked for this second chance, after all. Even if I didn't think my desperate pleas were going to be answered like this, I would not waste this chance. Living with my family was comfortable, but my ambitions were big. Still, the first thing to do was to evade the death flags. For that, I have to evade the Crown Prince at all costs. As a commoner, if he sees me and takes me as a concubine like in the original, it will be very troublesome. But what is this!? Didn't my parents tell you I was sick? Go away and enjoy the festival, and leave me alone! We don't know each other! If he is so insistent on taking me with him, then there is no other choice: I will run away from home! Mother, father, Lanto...I'm sorry. I hope your heads don't roll because of this. I sincerely enjoyed our time together. I learnt a lot from my father. Maybe becoming a wandering witch is not so bad... ... Isn't this how reincarnation stories usually go? With an obsessed male lead who suddenly shows interest in the reincarnated protagonist? But I'm completely honest when I say I will never marry or fall in love with this dude. And no, it's not just the usual 'protagonist who will later be proved wrong' talk. The Lost Life of Laraine
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.
The Assassin (WoF OC)
(Spoilers for Winter Turning, and Escaping Peril) So there's this dragonet, and her dad left before she hatched (realistic main character story), and then her mom decides she has to go take care of her OTHER dragonet by a different father, so she drops her little girl off in a slum where said dragonet gets raised by an assassin and becomes the most epic amazing killer you've ever seen. Then the SandWing war ends, so she heads off to funny little peace and rainbows town to meet her sister and mom, where she finds out mom's dead, so she lives with her sister now. Ofc it's hard to get business as an assassin in funny little peace and rainbows town, but it's okay because her sister is a healer's apprentice. Anygay one day our MC is minding her business when *GASP* a bunch of funny looking dragonets show up! And it turns out they've been chasing after a psychotic ex queen who also stole one of the dragonets' brother and did weird shit to him and made him a girl so they had to make him NOT a girl??? (Transphobia is NOT funny, children) And now cute little assassin dragonet is friends with all of them, and then Un-trans brother and Grumpy Point 3 of Love Triangle go home, but then Point 3 comes back so now it's all good, except he gets set on fire and now cute little assassin MC is chasing after Firebending Gorl and Psychotic Ex Queen. For the first two parts, not much from the original storyline changes because I still want the Strawberry of Power scene, but less dragons will die so yay :) (Credits for 'Strawberry of Power' to @Cjwolf96)

With him being the only Arkan left, what would become of the Arkan throne? Without him being married and of no son to take over his spot, what would bece of the little kingdom? To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever?
