Lost in pain, guilt and endless suffering was a child who feld for his life from the war torn Aryavart.

He had nothing more with him, his memories failed him and yet he was taken in and given the name Perseus.

He grew up, became Greece's most beloved warrior. But was that the end? Or was it just the beginning of a nightmare.

Buried within his forgotten past lies a book. A book which took several lives. A book which holds a secret which died with its master in battle.

"Who are you?"

"The all knowing, all powerful...."

"I didn't ask for subtitles!" Exclaimed Perseus.

They dangerously held their swords against each other's throats. Their eyes challenged one another, yet neither of them were willing to battle it with their swords.

"Why do you need this book?" Asked Vatsala. "Why did you....kill...."

"Mere mortals such as yourself are so foolish!" Laughed the man. "Hand me the book, or else none of you live."

They looked around and realised they were surrounded by armed men who were ready to strike as soon as the signal was given.

"Percy, let him go." She softly suggested, by gently placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I have their leader, they won't kill us." He replied.

"You don't get them yet," sighed Vatsala, "they are not one, they are many. He that was made within one, is not one."

Perseus dropped the sword and the book was handed to the man. They were at their wits ends. Would they succeed? Would they succumb to evil?

Trapped, encoded, shrouded in mystery is a dangerous secret. The ones who knew it, died. Would they meet the same fate as that of the past?

36 parts Complete
[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

"So." She mused, sliding one black nail across her lip in a sensual caress as she stared at me with eyes the color of molten gold. "You are the one they call Huntress." Disregarding the pain in my side from the most recent beating, I straightened my shoulders and stood tall, my chin jutting out in defiance. "Yes." "Mm." Those intriguing eyes watched me from her languid position on the throne. "But, you are not just a huntress, are you?" I allowed the predatory instincts I usually worked so hard to keep hidden, to surface, feeling the burning of my eyes and shifting of bones under my skin. A slow grin slid across my face as my beast stared back at her through my human skin. The Queen didn't react to my sudden change of character, instead choosing to lean forward in interest. "How fascinating." • Once, the world was ruled by humans and technology. They were governed by a president that made choices for all. Vampires, werewolves alike hid their existence from the humans for centuries, blending in as a whole. Now, they hid no more. States are now territories governed by kings and queens, humans are regarded and used for no more than their blood and body before they are discarded and forgotten. Werewolves and vampires were at war, and it was said that the wolves had all been but snuffed out, save for one. When Adira is captured while hunting outside her homeland, she is unexpectedly sold to the Queen in the North. Wolf blood is sacred, it is said to hold inexplainable powers, and as the only wolf-borne known to humans and vampires alike, Adira fears for her life. Thrown into a world governed by everything she's been trained to hate, Adira fights for her rightful place in the world, a seat at the Queen's side. And he becomes distant, shunned, his life twisted and his friends betraying him. Why? He was said to rape three goddesses, Athena, Artemis, and Aphrodite. So he was given a punishment from which he rose from. And he wanted to get away from them, but a new enemy forces him to make a choice. He's a new man, and had turned a new leaf.
