June has never been one to open up. But a series of letters has her pouring her feelings out to a stranger. The journey of healing is often more satisfying than the destination.
This story deals with anxiety disorders and selective mutism. This is something I've struggled with since I was a small child and this story is loosely based around my life and experiences.
Hopefully this gives some insight into what it's like to not be able to speak or go somewhere without fear. It took me a very long time to find my voice, but the journey was freeing.

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away.
