SILENT DESIRES

36 parts Complete Mature

For a moment, silence settled over the living room. Then Kenma shifted beside Y/N, his tone suddenly a touch deeper. "So... they're getting real comfortable again." Y/N gave a nervous laugh. "Seems like it." Kenma turned slightly, his eyes meeting hers. "I remember last time... we were just kind of stuck here. But it feels different now, doesn't it?" Y/N's breath caught. "Yeah. It does." He didn't look away this time. "I think I like this better." She could feel her pulse in her throat, her skin suddenly hypersensitive to how close he was. "What do you mean?" Kenma gave a small, rare smirk. "I mean... less noise. Fewer people." He leaned just a bit closer, his voice quiet. "More time to talk. Or... not talk." Y/N's heart thudded in her chest as she met his gaze. Something was shifting-slow, electric, undeniable. The space between them had never felt smaller.
