Kion and Fuli are just friends, until they get stuck and have to spend time together, when they realize their feelings for each other. Simba isn't too happy when he finds out. What will Simba do about it? Will Fuli and Kion be allowed to be mates or not?
(This takes places in the future and they are young adults. The Tree of Life is not involved.)

In this story happening in season 1 of TLG, we follow Kion how he deals with his trauma and his bond with his sister. He's physically healed quite quickly, but he needs a lot of mental support. Will Kion get through this? Read to find out! It's a hard story to write, since I don't have any experiences with traumas or things like that. Therefore I hope this story makes sense. Kiongozi, prince of the Pridelands, 3rd cub to Nala and Simba, Leader of the Lion Guard, and defender of the kingdom, was always neglected by his father. His older siblings, Kiara and Kopa, hurt him mentally and physically, and Nala pretended like he didn't exist. Kion hated his life. He did everything for his family, and they still treated him like a nobody. The Lion Guard wasn't any better. They tried to convince him of suicide, and Kion almost went through with it, but he couldn't. Kion hated being treated like this. He couldn't take the abuse or neglect any more. *Kion and Rani have never met in this story* Kion is the son of Simba and Nala, King and Queen of The Pridelands. Kion is always depressed. Nobody knows why, including his best friend Bunga. So, Kion walks back to Pride Rock, but while crossing a river, he accidentally loses his balance, and tumbles into the river, carrying him farther from his home. Soon, Kion washes up in the middle of nowhere. Trying to get back to his family, Kion stumbles upon a hurt lioness while on his journey back to the Pride Rock. Her name is Rani. She told Kion about her tragic past, and so Kion asks Rani to join him in his journey back to Pride Rock. She agrees. During the time they ventured together, he soon began to have feelings for her.
