Kion and Fuli are just friends, until they get stuck and have to spend time together, when they realize their feelings for each other. Simba isn't too happy when he finds out. What will Simba do about it? Will Fuli and Kion be allowed to be mates or not?

(This takes places in the future and they are young adults. The Tree of Life is not involved.)

The Guard goes on a journey to find the remedy, but while they are out there a teammate is the most worried about Kion out of them all: Fuli. She knew him as a cub and thinking about him getting taken away like that, it makes her sad and it doesn't help with the feelings she has for him. She tries to focus on the task ahead but she keeps thinking about their leader and wants to get back before it's too late. But what happens when they meet trouble along the way?
