Hiya, my name's Jack Holland. I'm new to Reseda. I just moved here with my dad. We don't talk much after my mom was killed in a car accident. But that doesn't mean that we don't love each other. It's just...complicated. We moved because my dad got a new job. Meaning I had to go to a new school and shit. I'm not one for change. A new place means meeting new people. And new friends....and new enemies. And trust me when I say...I have enemies. And I'm only 17. That's too many for my age.

Anyway, my dad enrolled me in this school West Valley High...or you know. Prison. But, it's not so bad....who am I kidding? The place is practically a circus show run by a bunch of obnoxious rich kids. But you know, one day, my dad tells me that he partnered up with some guy in a strip mall. That his new job had to do with karate...and teaching it as a sensei. Some place called "Cobra Kai" or something like that. Sounds pretty cool, seeing my dad getting back into doing the thing he loves. Especially since it's how he met...nevermind. Just read the goddamn story if you want to.
