My daughter challenged me to write a poem that ends with "Under the next rainbow", of course I accepted, though I know that she might have read it on one of the sites,but this my way of showing her that she is my rainbow.

In my dream, after I saw the rainbow, I saw strange monsters under my bed. Are you here to fight away the monsters?" I sighed. What a cool metaphor she used for a seven year old who didn't know. "Yes. So I just need to crawl under your bed?" "I think so. But, before you go, I want you to have this." She ripped her painting off of her easel and handed me a rainbow. "To remember me." I lightly touched the rainbow. It had dried really fast. Was she using fast dry paint or something? It seemed like it. I folded the paper and put it in my back pocket. I thought of something to give her back in return. For the rainbow, and for showing me where to go. "Now, I know it's not much, but I want you to have this ribbon bracelet that I made myself. It matches the ribbon in your hair." How convenient. I had made this bracelet when I was bored in bed a couple of nights ago with Amber's extra fashion supplies. I took it off my wrist. Next to it was The Treasure Was You bracelet Fabian had gave me for Christmas. I missed him. I wondered what he was doing right now. Her little eyes seemed to glow. "It's so pretty and it matches perfectly! I love love love it! Thanks, um, what's your name?" "Nina, Nina Martin." Another rule broken. I got on the ground, ready to slip under her bed. I've tried. but i've always failed to contain these thousand words in a few sentences, maybe im bad at expressing macro feelings in the few words that I'm limited to. you might think you know me enough because it's been a long time since i first waved at you and the love for the same artist started our very first conversation, but even i haven't discovered the colors of my existence yet, so why do you claim that you have? you think you've already uncovered the secrets and seen the scars and the marks and reached the origin of every preserved artifact in the treasures that i've kept hidden over the years but there's so much more that you would never even hear of. i've chosen to show you everything as a part of a happy story but will you ever know this? which words were rewritten and omitted out and which words are the part of the organic script which fits perfectly into the timeline. have you figured out yet who's the real director of my story? there's so much more to me than you think there is. poetry and prose and everything in between. 26.10.2021 - 01.06.2022Complete

"Well, Mia...come here," She ordered, tilting her head as she spoke to me. Mindlessly, I took a few steps towards her and then stopped, deciding that we were close enough. She took one large step towards me, almost completely closing the gap between us as she towered over me in her heels. She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me closer, so our fronts were now pressed together. She leaned down to my ear and asked, "Do you want me to take care of you or not?" "Yes," I whispered, and with that she leaned down to press our lips together, kissing me as her tongue slipped past my lips. My arms moved around her neck as I pulled her further down into me, deepening the kiss. She moved me until my back was pressed up against the sink. *** Mia is entering her last year of school when she hooks up with a stranger one fateful evening, who ends up being involved in her life in more ways than one. "Why did you show up at my school? Why did you corner me in the bathroom? Why did you kiss me? What did you mean you can pleasure me in more ways than one?" So many questions were running through my head and not having answers was driving me out my mind. "I can't answer any of those questions-" "Why the hell not?!" My hands were bawled into fist as she looked down at her own hands, as if contemplating what she should do. "Are you here as my patient, or as a personal matter?" She asked as she got out of her chair. I watched as she walked towards me. Today she was in a suit. A very alluring, seductive suit that seemed to make my mouth water. "Please answer Miss Wilson before I become irritated," I cleared my throat. "Personal," she nodded her head and walked up to me. With each step she took forwards I wanted to take five backwards. "I showed up to your school because I couldn't stop thinking about you. I cornered you in the bathroom because I wanted to see how you would react to have someone stand over you, and watch you squirm until you fell to your knees," she was standing directly in front of me now. "I kissed you because I had been wanting to do that since the moment I laid eyes on you. I wanted to know how your lips would quiver under mine. How they would part as I stuck my hands in between your legs and circled your clit. And as for the last thing," she ran her hand through my hair and pulled my head back. Her lips went to my ear, "you knew exactly what I meant," a whimper left my mouth as she started nibbling on my ear. A certain person showed me to write my pain into poems instead of just writing crap down. I still do that but some I make into poems. I just keep them hidden in whatever I write them in, but I decided I should put them here. They probably aren't good but I try.
