Imagine a world where there is a line that would encircle around blocks? A color on the streets to tell you where to stand and where you belong? A dress code and a number on your wrist to tell your social ranking? Gates to separate the community into two?
This is the society Celestial lives in. People are separated into two social ranking; Ascendants and Descendants.
The two communities never meet. One privileged more than the other. One suffers to survive, the other lives in joy.
Celestial Angel is probably the only person who doesn't belong to either as her parents broke the law and got together while coming from two different sides. They were locked up and Cele was forced into an orphanage, hiding from the governor's eyes who seeks for her death.
Cele grows to feeling lost and estrangement. She embarks her own journey to find her parents, a place to belong, encountering people and finding love.

After all, the saying goes, "everyone was born for a reason," meaning those born with unworldly energies must have been given life to fulfill an unknown purpose that is greater than themselves. We are only given a certain amount of time in this world to live up to our given potential because, just like the stars, humans also fade away. A star's glow is a result of a series of chemical reactions that are housed at its core. Similarly, our lives are like a series of chemical reactions, vibrant, unpredictable, chaotic. They only last for a certain amount of time before the limiting reagent is used up in its entirety, ceasing the continuation of spontaneity. All of us have a limiting reagent, a chemical that is used up first, which then halts the chemical reaction and stops its continuity. And unfortunately, some of us possess a more powerful limiting reagent than others, making their chemical reaction burn out quicker than others. In this society, when your time is up, it is up, there is nothing else to be done. Any form of medication or medical intervention that was not created naturally by the Earth is frowned upon.
