Joseph Joestar, a childish eighteen year old boy, and Caesar Zeppeli, a sheltered, but curious boy of the same age, meet again for the first time since they were eight at Caesar's grandfather's academy for hamon users. Blinded by young love, Caesar agrees to accompany Joseph when he proposes the idea of running away after finding half of a million dollars and a fancy red necklace in his mother's belongings.
