He is 30 and she is 19. she yearns for his love, but he hates her to his core. .......................................................................... He rushed to the hospital after receiving the call from the doctor. He felt restless, even though he didn't love his wife, he was scared about his baby's health. She came out of the washroom, her stomach emptied from relentless vomiting. In her trembling hand, she held a pregnancy kit-two unmistakable pink lines stared back at her, declaring the beginning of a life growing inside her. She froze, eyes locked on the test. "No... no... this can't be happening," she whispered, her voice cracking before she collapsed to her knees, tears streaming down her face. Just then, the door creaked open. He walked in. The moment she saw him, she sprang to her feet, stormed towards him, and grabbed his collar. Her eyes blazed with fury and betrayal. "You cheated me! You trapped me in this marriage!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. "You manipulated me, married me, and now this?" she yelled, thrusting the test in front of his face. He stared at it in confusion, but as his eyes registered the two pink lines, understanding dawned. Slowly, a smile spread across his face. She's pregnant... She's carrying my baby... I'm going to be a father. His heart raced with happiness. His plan had worked. She threw the kit to the floor and began pounding her fists against his chest, sobbing, "Why? Why did you do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this? You've ruined my life! I hate you... I hate you! And I will never forgive you!" A twisted, guilty joy stirred in his chest. As much as it hurt to see her like this, a selfish part of him felt victorious. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her-so he did what he had to do. If love wasn't enough to keep her, then maybe responsibility would be. At least now, she was tied to him... if not by choice, then by duty. He knew her parents would never let her walk away, not with a baby on the way. And maybe-the child could bring them closer. Maybe it could fix what he broke. He smirked, a dark thought creeping in. Hi, A few years back I began my blogger's journey. Now it's time when I archive them all here and share with you all. But before that let me do the little formality and introduce you the blogger, the writer, the artist behind this all. Hey I'm Ocean, a dreamy girl, who has completed her college studies of fashion designing from a few years back and then stepped into the writing world. Though writing was already a big part of me since my school days, but now it has become a professional practice too. Other than writing and designing, I pretty much like photography and travelling. And the things which I love to do in my free time is dancing, listening to music - hindi classicals, qawwali, ghazal, indie-pop or fusions are my favourite, other than that watching movies/series - Classics, Rom-Com, Action, Thrill, Sci-Fi - ALL! and studying film-making.
