This is my version of King's Cage.
What if, by killing Elara, Mare removed all of Elara's changes in other people's minds? This would mean that Maven is himself. Will he be the kind boy that Mare thought if only as the ghost? Or will he still be every inch his mother's son, hungry for power and revenge?

He is now taking care of her family and working with Cal and her brothers to get her back. Farley is left heartbroken. Her love was murdered and she didn't even get to say goodbye.
