This caught me off-guard. A Shifter? I had heard of them, thieves and criminals that are able to shift to the Other Realm using shadows.
Seventeen-year-old Adaria Feur is extremely confused when she wakes up in a room with no memory of how she got there, no memory of the powers everyone keeps telling her she has, and not a clue of how to survive a prestigious academy that is actually training teens into becoming agents for a secret organization called F.E.A.R. However, the thing that worries her most is the pair of amber eyes she keeps seeing in her dreams. They're so beautiful, familiar, warm... but dangerous. And she knows that they hold her whole world, whether she likes it or not.
