The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. Something Mending -- VOL 1
Of Breaking hearts, young love, betrayal and pain. Of Mending hearts, familiar pain, unexpected hurt and aftermath. Of Healing hearts, underated heartache, pain and acceptance. Of Love, Love that is as deep sea. Pain, that knows no bounds. Strength, that exist within time, but lasts forever. Of Sadness, sadness that always returns, Of Trauma, trauma that runs in deep, and the art of dying, every time. Of Scribbles and rambles, unsaid words and sealed pain. Of Life, Love, Pain, Sadness, Trauma. Of the art of rising like a phoenix, every time. Of Anxiety and Paranoia. Of Anything bad, Of Everything good. This is a story of a girl, it's a continuous one. A story of a sad girl, very lonely, but beautiful, intelligent and strong. She's a self sabotaging narcissistic girl, but also a talented, skilled and brave girl. She is riddled with anxiety and depression, but somehow finds ways to get up each morning, thinking of beautiful things. She has loved and lost, hurt and being hurt. She has not lost herself, but she has not find herself either. This is the life of a girl, laid before you in poems and thoughts. One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! He shook his head and hesitated a few times before finally speaking "It doesn't matter Emma, your priceless to me. You mean everything -" I held up my hand to cut him off "So you were willing to risk something that meant everything to you for something that means absolutely nothing? Please tell me what you risked me for?!" He sighed and looked at the floor, clearly in shame. A book of various tale-like long poems which are based upon my feelings, thoughts, imagination and life events. "Towards the Sky", as its name suggests, is a poem book which aims to reach the Sky with it's growing feelings and emotions which everyone can see and feel. As a poet, with all the support by my readers, i will be on my journey towards the sky to convey my feelings. A sky where there's eternal peace, a silence which you can hear like a thunder and the love within your hearts which may awaken in this book full of emotions. 🥒 SUMMER BUDDY 🥒
After being denied employment at the summer job for which she had been employed for two summers, Twenty year old Tiony Tomlinson decided to go with her two cousins to the country. Hoping the time away from home will ease her mind away from the thought that her ex's new girlfriend has a hand in the termination of her re-application. Having to work to help finance herself through university, she chides herself that her outstanding grades had remained up and part of her tuition fees will be paid from the scholarship funds. Twenty-six year old Arly McGrath yearns for a more fulfilling life. He loves the regular sex from his son's mother and the other women who never fail in showing interest in him, but he wasn't exactly sure what he needed to fill the gap that seemed to be increasing in his life.
