Once upon a time, a treaty was formed between two kingdoms. Two children born in the same year after the blood will be bound in marriage to form a treaty between the warring kingdoms. Two children later that year were born after the blood moon on the same day.

It was destiny's work at hand.

Or so they thought...

A year later one of the babies was stolen in the middle of the night by a servant who traveled deep into the forest never to be seen again, causing wars to break out amongst the kingdoms in thought that the other stole the child. A few years later the war had ended but peace was never truly brought. The prince traveled to the kingdom in hopes of truly bringing peace but only one thing could cure the kingdom of a broken heart.

Bringing the missing prince back to them.

Do you know the meaning of life? For many, life is a journey defined by its fleeting joys, struggles, and quiet moments. Yet, when the real truth reveals itself-an undeniable truth-it opens our eyes to the inescapable impermanence of everything. Shiltz, a sprawling and ancient continent, was once a land of balance and peace, home to three great kingdoms. The Saint Kingdom: the largest and most powerful human realm, where valor and ambition flourish. Anu Arendel: the mystical kingdom of the Elves, a bastion of wisdom, harmony, and eternal beauty. Archeart Kingdom: the rugged homeland of the Orcs, a place of strength, honor, and resilience. For centuries, these three races coexisted, bound by mutual respect and necessity. That fragile peace shattered sixty years ago. It began when five Dragon Seals-ancient locks holding back an unfathomable evil-were broken. The dragons, creatures of untold power, rose from their slumber and ravaged the lands. An aura of darkness bled across Shiltz, corrupting the skies, the earth, and the hearts of all living beings. The kingdoms, desperate to preserve their existence, united to confront the dragons. Armies marched. Heroes emerged. Yet, despite their courage and sacrifice, the dragons were unstoppable. The world plunged deeper into chaos. Amid their failures, a flicker of hope appeared-a prophecy. The Crude Prophecy, a cryptic message whispered through forgotten tongues, foretold of a chosen one: "The Ward of Narsillia shall rise, and peace will follow in their wake." No one knows who or what the Ward of Narsillia truly is. A savior? A warrior? A force of nature? For sixty years, this prophecy has lingered like a ghost, offering hope to some and despair to others. Now, as darkness creeps ever closer and kingdoms teeter on the brink of ruin, the time has come for the prophecy to be fulfilled.

They say you only fall in love once. For Ody and Mano, that once changed everything. In a world where love isn't always safe, and pain comes hand-in-hand with desire, two straight boys find each other in the middle of grief, trauma, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. Mano doesn't do vulnerability. Aggressive, tattooed, cold, and impossible to like, he plays the villain on purpose, because being hated is safer than being seen... and losing someone again would ruin him. Ody can't help but care. Bright, extroverted, charming and painfully sincere, he's the kind of boy who notices when you're hurting... even when you pretend you're not. He remembers your birthday, offers you the last slice, and apologizes even when it's not his fault. When their lives collide, nothing about them makes sense, except the way they keep gravitating toward each other. Sparks fly, but so do secrets, buried trauma, and a love neither of them is ready for. One of them hides behind silence. The other hides behind smiles. Together, they're wildfire. But not all fires survive the storm. The forbidden love between a broken boy and a lost one - a bond that refuses to break, even as the world tries to tear them apart. 🖤New chapter every Friday🖤 ! Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

"We can't do this." I whisper as our lips re-connect, a tingling fire surging through my body as his hands ravage unexplored lands; my innocence dissipating away with every peck he trails down my neck. "I know we can't. That's why it's so exciting." He replies through kisses. His effortless charm intoxicates me; drowning me; hunting me; devouring me. "What if my brother finds out?" The perpetuated patter of the rain unable to subdue my groan as he digs his nails deeper into my skin. "Who cares." ********** Welcome to my story, where an innocent boy finds a not so innocent boy in his bed; where they do not so innocent things. - YOP
