The Seventh Secret Wish
With the good life that she has, people around Valerie thinks she's one lucky lady who had it all: A kindhearted parent, challenging career, supportive colleagues and a best friend who encourages her to live a life filled with adventure. But one traumatic experience would make her change her perception on second chances and pushes her to a decision that she won't get involved with anyone. Sa kabila ng abala niyang career, sa dalawang bagay na lang siya naging sigurado: ang mag-excel lalo sa trabaho niya bilang paralegal at tuparin ang wishes na nakasulat sa kanyang bucket list. But a weird twist of fate and a life-and-death scenario during a random trip overseas leads her path to Migo, a calm, optimistic, and charismatic neurosurgeon. Despite being in a profession that relies heavily on science, he's a firm believer of giving some things another try and keeping the faith - even if the reality, he himself is trying to recover from his own inner wound. Sa pagtatagpo ng dalawang taong may magkaibang panniwala at mula sa magkaibang mundo, may posibilidad ba na mahanap sa isa't isa ang katuparan ng mga pangarap at hinihiling ng puso nila? Are second chances really worth a leap of faith? Could a random stranger's views on life prompt her to have a change of heart? And can some dangers really be a catalyst for love - o mananatili na lang ba talaga itong isang linyang pinauso lang ng K-drama?

Yes! Pasado! A Student's Guide to College Life
In my more than a decade of working in the academe, I have seen how my students struggled to adjust to their College lives when Online classes were abruptly implemented due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Now, the second wave of Gen Z is having a hard time keeping up with the demands of Tertiary education. As an Educator, I felt this need to contribute more in supporting a healthy college foundation for my students, which may help them get an edge in their future careers -and change the lives of their families. As I help my students, their numbers grow, and I was confronted with the nagging truth- My reach is limited within the four corners of the universities I am connected to. This constraint hampers me to help other students from other universities or colleges who are having a hard time, not only adjusting but also surviving in tertiary education. This book was birthed from this innate need to help and aid more students who are the future of this country. I hope this book may provide you with the following: 1. Tips that may prepare you for the demands of College life. Learn to utilize the existing services of your possible Alma Mater to meet your academic needs. 2. Knowledge to help you discover your needs through self-assessment tools. 3. Learn how to navigate and succeed in getting that degree. This book is not intended to replace professionals in mental health; please seek their help. Also, this may contain topics that are not suitable for younger readers. Disclaimer: I am not an expert in the field of education. Just a humble prof who can write and use this platform to spread knowledge.
