The similarities between the man and her childhood friend, who left just after a few months of when they met, leaving her with just a note he wrote and something (mentioned later in the story) which belonged to him. Will she be able to let go of her trauma and her toxic relationship? Or will she hold on to that broken wrist watch? Will she keep looking back or will she choose to move forward, in a direction of love and light? And what role will this new man (neighbour) play in her decision? ___________________________________________ This book was a writing prompt turned into a short romance. I didn't actually plan on writing this, as all my attention was reserved for my debut dark romance novel, which will be out by the end of next year.
