The dodo (Raphus cucullatus) is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. Its closest genetic relative was the also extinct Rodrigues solitaire, the two forming the subfamily Raphinae of the family of pigeons and doves. The closest extant relative of the dodo is the Nicobar pigeon. A white dodo was once incorrectly thought to have existed on the nearby island of Réunion.

This is a collection of short stories that are about places I would like to one day visit, but for now there are all chapters of my imagination. I am the Grl heard around the world! This is actually written for my Great Uncle Atty. Pio Frago to read. We live in two different parts of the world, and this is my way to reach him. From the Skies Above
Set off to an amazing adventure of two orphaned children, Daisy and Maxwell, who escape their abusive foster mother Mrs. Brookshire, with the help of a peregrine falcon who is well known in his bomber jacket along with his friend Moloko, a special kind of whale that only lives up in the sky. They go in a magical place in the sky known as the Sky Tree, a tree that's so massive and has been there for thousands of years, an entire civilization of intelligent birds and tree-dwelling creatures live their lives up there! Not much is known about the Sky Tree's origins, though. Some of the animals befriended up there are Lieutenant Anto, a kestrel who defends the creatures of the Sky Tree and two bat twins known as Dalos and Kraelos who are very skilled at building. Daisy and Maxwell might feel safe thousands of feet in the clouds with their new friends they befriend at the Sky Tree, but there's danger that lurks down from the very ground people live on...
