I'm Zeri. As soon as I turned 18, I left my little town in Minnesota and moved all the way to California. It's awesome here. Well, I've only been here for a day. But I already like it, the vibe I get from here is so different from a small town filled with small minded people. I'm starting senior year at Sunny High in two days and I'm nervous as hell. Are they going to accept me or do I have to go back to being Zeron? I don't like dressing as a boy and that was one of the main reasons I left Minnesota. I left a week after my senior year started, on my birthday. No one can find me but no one will bother anyway. Not my crack whore mother, not my bullying brother, not my schoolmates or teachers who used to tease me. Things are going to be tough but it's going to be worth it. I just have to remember to keep a rein on my heart like I always have. I should be fine. And maybe, just maybe not tell anyone I'm not a girl?
