A love letter to Nazlı and Ferit - spotlight on those favourite scenes, expanding them and imagining some brand new scenes too. Exploring the 'far side' of the full moon: the parts we didn't get to hear or see in the Turkish dizi 'Dolunay'.

Each chapter is a stand-alone and aligns to the plot of the show, just adding in more romance/ angst/ cuteness - so skip to your favourite bölüm if you want! Credit for the overall storyline and inspiration goes to the writers, director, and Can Yaman and Özge Gürel.

⚔️ "Being born and raised to respect life and its rules, Jovan Galanis made something of himself. He was ambitious, outgoing, disciplined, and righteous to his very core. His parents died when he was a young boy, and having been raised by his Macedonian grandmother opened his eyes and imagination to a world of history many people today care little for. Jovan had all the great makings of a heavily decorated Navy Seal. That was, until he made a decision to trust his own gut. His own conscience. His own heart. He declined a request of his best friend to go against his superiors. He chose not to break the law. And he got burned for it. Badly and irreversibly. So, what becomes of a man who realized he had been betrayed? He learned that he could rely only on himself. Especially when the virtues of Fate thrust him back centuries into the past. Why? Because he was needed. Because he needed to fight for what mattered. Because he needed to find himself and the purpose in life he thought he had lost. And, because he needed to find the courage to become Pasha's fencer..." I invite You to take a journey to the world of Jovan Galanis, a character inspired by Can Yaman, the Turkish Actor of International proportions. This ORIGINAL STORY is a pure work of inspiration, one dear to me because of the world that Can Yaman inspires. The story that awaits You is not one influenced by any of Can's protagonists he had given life to, but by Can Yaman himself. I would like to give special thanks to Mary Bloyd, the Resident Editor for Can Yaman International for her help and effort in putting this original story on paper. I hope You enjoy reading it! 🖋JK

EK AU Sanem has had anything but an easy life. From her difficult upbringing to her dismal marriage. Her surroundings weigh her down and force her to think her fate is sealed. She is alone, not by choice, but by circumstance. Her only friend is the voice in her head. Life didn't turn out the way Can thought it would either. But he has learned to accept it and even prefers his solitude to the point where he is far more comfortable around horses than he is people. Their two paths cross and life is no longer the same. But with how fate has treated them, do they really want to keep their old lives? The road may be rocky, but they find strength and solace in each other. Set in Northern California during the mid 1930s. Tensions escalate as the rift between the upper and lower classes increases. A possible uprising looms on the horizon. *Disclaimer/Trigger Warning* Please read before starting chapter 1. This is an AU story featuring characters from the Turkish TV show, Erkenci Kuş. A show that is a romantic comedy. This story here is not a romantic comedy. For those finding this story from one of the others I've written, fair warning, this one is going to be darker than what I've published so far. I will not be explicit or go into a lot of detail, but this story does include themes like domestic violence and marital rape. These are serious topics that I do not take lightly. I will do my best to always be respectful and ask that all readers do so too in any comments. Chapters will also not have individual warnings marking it as mature. (Before your minds get too carried away, no. Can Divit is not the villain here. So you can relax on that front.)

Will Peter fight to be his own person and go after what he wants? *** (This is my first venture into the world of a novella length story. This reluctant wanderlust story has a healthy dose of love and humo[u]r tossed in. Then it's submerged in the sea of cliches. Hate it? Love it? Read it.😄 There are plans to go back and fix and edit this story that was concocted in less than 3 months.) 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 Originally written for the @opennovellacontest 2019 , General Fiction (#2: Against an Obstacle Prompt) *Round Two Qu

When the stars align

42 parts Complete

Nazli is learning to be independent and make her own decisions away from the security of her extended family. She's aware they mean well but prefers to find her own path. When the family business hit a rough patch, she opted for an alternative career path that led her to live in Istanbul with her bestfriend Fatos. Ferit always lived on his own terms, pursuing whatever he wanted to. From an early age, he knew he had to set up his own legacy much like his role model, his grandfather. Over the years the family made peace with this and let him do what he desired. While they're navigating through life unaware of each other's existence, the common thread that binds them would be the mounting pressure from families to settle down. Will their paths cross OR do they have their own lives? Let's see what happens when the stars align... Author's Note: My name suggests I love nazfer, so its Nazli & Ferit again... This is a brand new story and might include a mix of characters. You're free to imagine anyone you think might suit the role when you read.
