"Why bother writing him letters when you'll know he'll never read them?" Richard asked as I sat down letting my legs submerge under the cool water. I find it hard to look at his blue eyes before I speak.

"because those are the letters I cannot write to you..." I finally say it.

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. It's as if they're real while I'm reading!" life_is_beautiful115 "Your work is literally art." lemonsun123 "Every time I read this book it just makes me smile." Nicooole97 Cover by: -winterr

I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued. "Why are you acting so weird?" "Well, you're kind of naked." I say matter-of-factly. "Nothing you haven't seen before." Sky says casually. I feel a blush rise to my cheeks. He does remember. Sky never talks about that time. "You remember." I mumble. "Chase, I can't hear you from all the way over there.." I walk into the bathroom feeling awkward and like I'm intruding on his privacy or something. But Sky just keeps on showering like nothing's going on. × × × Chase and Sky had sex. It happened two years ago on a whim. Sky (who's also the father of Chase's niece) seems to have forgotten all about it. Chase definitely hasn't. Anxious loner Chase Chambers was never popular in high school. In his third year, this suddenly changes. As the girls begin to notice him, he begins to notice an emptiness inside. Desperate for real connection Chase seeks it in the darkest of places. Oliver Sky, Chase's longtime crush and sister's baby daddy goes through his own struggles as he reconnects with a ghost of the past. Chase and Sky help each other through difficult times and grow unbelievably close. ...Maybe even too close. Love, trauma and a complicated family. The story of Ghosts of the Past continues. =TRIGGER WARNING: Depression (and everything surrounding it), abuse and more=
