'They're my sons... I'd do anything for them. I just regret that I wasn't there for them.'
New York. 2012.
It hasn't been too long since the Avengers saved New York from Loki. They've become a team, a family, the original seven.
It's literally like any other day in the life of the Avengers and the X-Men. The girls shop for clothes, have coffee, and gossip about their latest crushes on the male members of the Avengers. The boys train, make silly jokes (and sometimes dirty ones, ahem! Tony Stark) and do stupid things from time to time.
Adelaide Lehnsherr's happy. She reunited with her X-Men family and now started to get the Avengers and X-Men to collaborate with each other on taking down what they could of HYDRA and helping SHIELD.
She has dreams, though. Of two young lives that look vaguely familiar. Two young boys that she knows all too well as the twins James, aka Jamie, and Lukas, aka Lukey. She knows they have powers, that young Jamie, the eldest, has her powers and looks exactly like her, which is weird considering they're Tony Stark's sons.
Tony always told her they were from a strange one-night stand that he had before he got captured and became Iron Man.
But while on a visit to the X Mansion, the resident scientists of the X-Men and the Avengers, Hank McCoy and Bruce Banner, aka the Beast and Hulk. make a startling discovery out of the boys' DNA, it rocks her world. Not to mention her best friend on the team, Steve Rogers, has already seen the DNA and made his own connections as to who the boys' parents really are.
