Laura Frost just wanted a normal life. But when WW2 takes the love of her life, Bucky Barnes, away from her, she makes it her mission to help end this war.
Accepted into the SSR with 3 PhD's, Laura is tasked with a seemingly impossible mission: recreate the Super Soldier Serum after Dr. Erskine died. But when a terrible accident occurs, she is left struggling with new powers. When she hears what Hydra did to Bucky, she's even more determined to take them down.
Will she be able to handle so much change? Will she be able to cope with the burden her new powers bring? More to come!
Book 1 of the Things We Lose series
Constructive criticism is always welcome. In time more books are to come, following Laura's and Bucky's story. The setting is placed in Captain America: The First Avenger. Most of the lines are taken from the movie, with a bit of my personal flare added.
