The thickets and branches tore at his bloodstained clothes as he ran through the woods. His heart pounded in his chest and became his already frantic breathing quickened as the sound of hounds baying in the distance grated against his ears. For the first time in years, despite the panic and fear that swirled inside him Rial knew this was the only chance for freedom he was ever going to get. As the sounds of dogs growling and men shouting grew closer the despair and thought of getting caught tore at his thoughts and he started sprinting ever faster-losing sight of his surroundings, As he exited the tree-line a snap startled his foggy pain-filled brain and suddenly he felt the cold air encircling him once again, he realized that he was falling from a massive cliff down to frothing rapids. Rial's vision flickered and the last thought went through his head "At least I got to see the stars one last time" before his vision blackened and the world went dark.
Rial is demon/human hybrid who has escaped a life of torture and violence and this is his story.
Thank You for checking this out I am not a writer but Ive been wanting to write this for years now. Ive finally managed to escape the claws of my anxiety and depression and put work into the things I've been wanting to do. I hope that maybe my story can give someone out there a small bit of enjoyment and escape from this mortal realm.
