We built a home together and destroyed it together. It takes a masked man to piece everything back together. Finally a "happily" ever after, without him...Or so they thought. The ghost of him returns, the truth they know becomes distorted, and it only takes a server-ending threat to rebuild their home.
This was supposed to be a one shot , but here we are. I love ghost dream so much. There is not enough stories about him. And yes, I blasted the song (to build a home) on repeat while writing this so I'm sorry if it seems really depressing. Prison arc? Nah, but ghost Dream? Yes. This takes place right after the community house is destroyed and Doomsday is set. Techno is mad at Tommy, but still cares cuz sbi is best. 😌
Update 2022: Techno will continue to be part of the story as a main character. I love his humor and he inspires me in everything I write. I will honor him in future chapters and future works.

'It was dark outside by now, and Dream could hear the sounds of monsters roaming the surface. He shivered and grabbed his stone sword a little tighter. He's safe in here... nothing can hurt him... right? A too close for comfort zombie groan made him press more into the corner of his hideout. What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. He would prefer almost anything over the situation he's in right now. One wrong move and his life would be over. He hates it here. He just wants to go home. Please.' ---- Hey! I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? The two brothers wanted them to be found just so people would shut up about it, that was until scientists finally figured out what happened and how to get them out. each of the missing streamers were stuck in the world, their bodies now part of the game. The only way for them to get out was to either beat the game or find some sort of loop hole, their only problem? Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them.
