From the time she was a little girl, Rose Fletcher always knew what she wanted to do in life. Becoming a nurse was her passion, and she worked extremely hard to achieve it, making plenty of sacrifices along the way, including love.

But then her best friend Tilly convinces her to leave the stable job that she loves in her hometown of Auckland, New Zealand, to travel halfway across the world to do a working holiday in England. Forcing her out of her comfort zone, Tilly's Aunt Meg offers her a once in a lifetime job on a movie set. But not just any movie, her favourite, Pride and Prejudice. How can she say no?

She is so excited about meeting the leading man, the rich, dark and way-too-handsome Ethan Dashwood, the actor playing Mr Darcy. Until she actually meets him, he's obnoxious and rude, and turns out, Rose can't stand him!

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realises first impressions aren't always reliable.
