Gale: A Hunger Games Story

But he'll be watching, every moment, every twist and turn, and willing me to come home." - Katniss Everdeen, The Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen is fighting for her life in the 74th Annual Hunger Games. We know her story. But have you ever wondered what it was like on the home front, in District 12? This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Please do not attempt to recreate it in any form. Additionally, if ideas in this work are similar to that of other writings, it is purely coincidental and I apologize deeply for any inconvenience. In many other stories I've read, the Hunger Games return and continue to slaughter twenty-three children every year. That has not happened and is not going to happen in my story. The Hunger Games 2 - The Flames
Hey , my names Amanda Mellark , loving and caring daughter of Katniss and Peeta Mellark. Im 15 turning 16 during the games , the games have returned as snow has risen from the dead to once again to take over our nation, Snow's return from the dead has also brought back my Aunt Prim but shes now still the age of 13, I will be making my way into the arena to hopefully be crowned district 12's new victor like my parents. The story gets sad during the games as i lose people who are close to me in the arena , looks like i have to be the hero in this story this time as i battle in the 84th hunger games. President Snow yet again wants to get things his way , but will that last for long? , as me , Mark , Jake , Katniss (mum), Peeta (dad) and Gale (uncle) team up for a rescue mission on getting Aloe back to safety and their side once again , will Haymitch is no longer here to help us survive can we do this without him? Beetee will provide us the full security for the mission as the district helps the team. Will he come back safely? I'll come home from the rescue mission for Aloe , is he home? safe? , as my mission continues to go on to the day I will assassinate Snow as I become the rebellious leader of the whole of panem and guide the nation back to reality ? can I do this? What will happen to me? What goes on during the games? What happens to snow? Last year Katniss and Peeta won the 74th Hunger Games, meaning that they now will be dragged into being mentors every single year. The 75th Annual Hunger Games is starting, meaning there will be a Quarter Quell. Nova, a girl on 12 and Raze, a boy on 18, is the unlucky ones being reaped, and they get Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta as their mentors. Can these three mentors safe one of the kids? Raze is a quick, strong boy from the mines. He quickly shows himself just as skilled in combat as the Careers. Nova is completely different. She is little and weak, and used most of her time at home dancing, studying or reading. She is a smart girl, who knows how to survive, as long as no one will try to kill her. While the kids are in the Quell fighting for their lives, Katniss and Peeta is spending a lot of time together. Not only do they have the kids in the Quell to look after, but also the wedding.
