Surreptitious [H.S.][N.H.]

Athiliah Verns spends her days alone, talking to her cat Nyx to pass the time. She works for a designer company traveling the world for different clients, or just staying at the building across town.

Or does she?

She's worked there since, well who remembers? It seems like forever and she can't bother to try to remember a time from before.

A time where things weren't as simple.

In a spur of a decision trip she meets a group of new friends, faces events that may flip her world upside down, (or maybe right side up) and uncovers things she didn't even know that she had forgotten in the first place.

Was she the only one who didn't remember?

Her new friends are promising but not all of them get along with her so well. The two boys can't stand her. And she can't stand them either. They leave it at that, only socializing when needed.

But when things start to make sense again, and secrets are revealed to them. There's new tasks at hand. Guess what two narcissistic and self centered guys have to follow along with her to complete them.

They were there all along weren't they? She just hadn't remembered.
