The Things outside the walls would tear R.K. to pieces. Or at least, that's what she was told. But being in the sector, with the watchful guards and strict limitations is like living inside a cattle pen. Meeting newcomers is an upside, though, at least until R.K. meets a woman assigned to her household. She's aloof and distant, and no one wants much to do with her. But now, she may be their only chance for survival.
