Kai Sinclair was born with an amazing quirk, seismic sense. Unfortunately, the drawback of this quirk is her vision, as Kai is almost completely blind. In order to see what everyone else does she would need a special prescription that was way above her parents pay grade. So when she was a kid, she almost gave up following in her father's footsteps, and becoming a hero. Despite her disability, Kai's parents wouldn't let her give up and they always supported her lifelong dream. But as her father began his rise to fame in the American hero industry, her family became distant and broken. What started out as meaningless insults from a drunk mouth, slowly but surely turned into broken glass, daily beatings, and no one to believe her. What will happen when Kai's father finally snaps and sends her away to UA with nothing but some money and a plane ticket to the wrong city? Leaving the number one hero school in the U.S. and her home with no warning? Not gonna be easy.
