a short story. - genre : romance - start date : 03-1-2021 - finish date : My heart ached. The sun was rising, breezes of the winds were surrounding me. The sky was sky blue with a tint of pink in it. Morning was not the time to cry, I kept holding my tears. Because, it's been such a long time. I sat down on the bench, the only bench that's empty. I kept fidgeting my hands and bit my lips. My eyes were tired. I didn't sleep all night, all this time, I've been waiting for this day to come.

The rain was pounding hard on the floor, pattering against my roof and soaking the grass. We were protected from my roof, but we were both still so cold. "I don't wanna lose you." I closed my eyes and tried to fight against the pain in my chest. "Just tell me I won't." "You won't," he said, pulling me closer for another hug. I grabbed onto his sweater desperately, pathetically, trying to keep him next to me for as long as possible. "I promise."
