It's the anniversary of the resolution of twilight, and all is well in Hyrule Kingdom. There have been no attacks on the kingdom since the Demon King attempted to take the throne for himself. With the re-emergence of the Sheikah, and the presence of a strange, new substance, Queen Zelda and her knight, along with old and new friends, must form a new resistance to fight back the awakening doom.

Unfortunately it was not soon enough for her loyal and caring guardian knight, however his time had not come. Alone the princess contained the calamity to the castle buying her knight, the hero chosen by the goddess Hylia, time to recover from his mortal wounds. For a hundred years the land of Hyrule was threatened by the great calamity, every year the princess seal weakened ever so slightly. After his awakening the former knight turned hero rushed from one end of Hyrule to the next making allies and defeating the calamity and it's servants. You are an outsider, no one knows where you came from. Protecting those around you became something you dedicated yourself to. You trained yourself to fight in the graveyard for days until your body gave out and you'd start again. One day, Link finds you battling a lone goblin that has infiltrated the village by yourself. Impressed by your natural skill, he brings you along to gather more allies from all other villages.
