Vella Delaba had been raised as a peacekeeper, a knight. But by necessity, she'd become a warrior and had fought in many wars. She'd been a padawan in the Clone Wars and had joined in the battle against the tyrannical Empire. But no matter how many fights she came back from, she was never prepared for what she'd lose. The Jedi had been slandered, their once loved name became mud beneath a blurrgs feet. She had fought battles civilians couldn't and was now branded a traitor. Her past haunted her. The Jedi haunted her. The Force haunted her. But no matter how much she ran, it always caught up. The Galactic Republic was long gone, the Jedi were dead, even the Empire had been defeated. She'd lived through all of it, all because she'd ignored and hidden one of the most important things about her. The war was over, the Rebellion had won, the Empire was gone. So why was she still struggling to find where she fit in the mix of it? She was a Jedi. Where did a Jedi fit into a galaxy that hadn't seen one for nearly thirty years? Against the Odds, and quite surprisingly, she found she fit quite nicely with a Mandalorian and a small child. Even if the Baby is the only one to figure that out yet. --------- HI IM BREEZY!! He's the best bounty hunter in the parsec and she's his most valuable mission yet... After returning Grogu to the Jedi, Din is alone once again. He takes one last job with the promise of enough credits for him to never have to accept another bounty again. But this job proves to be different from all the rest. She's nameless, no record and no history. The planet Din is required to take her to is a ghost story and she's not offering up any answers. As Din struggles in a war against himself, the bounty takes a turn for the worst, revealing dark secrets at every turn. The further Din goes, the lower his chance of survival becomes. But he wants answers and he won't stop until he gets them, even if it means breaking his creed. Together, they embark on a journey to the edges of the galaxy, uncovering secrets that have been buried for eons. Din is faced with the startling the realization that the galaxy has never been what he has thought and the chilling question: was the Empire ever truly defeated? Or just waiting in the shadows to rise from the ashes?
