My very first fanfiction! A What If fic in which Ash travels to Galar after winning the Alola League to gather gym badges, take part in the local league, win and move one step closer to becoming a Pokemon Master. And he has some pretty interesting travelling companions too.

The plot is about a ten-year-old boy named Ash Ketchum and his first partner named Pikachu, who travels to a new region called Galar. His goal is to challenge Leon, the unbeatable champion. Galar is home to its strong and competitive trainers, so the road will be a challenge for him. Ash is also traveling with two companions: a young adult woman named Sonia, who is also the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia; and a boy named Hop, who's Leon's Younger Brother and share the same goal from Ash of dethroning Leon. Together, the trio travels to the first section of Galar, meeting new trainers and Pokémon and learning about Galar history and secrets. After failing to win in the Kalos pokemon league almost all of Ash's friends and even his own mother betrayed him and when he went to Professor Oaks lab to get his Pokemon he found out that almost all of them betrayed him as well even the newly caught friends from Kalos. Before Ash has a chance to leave though the traitors decided that they would end Ash so they ordered every Pokémon to attack Ash. Meanwhile in the Hall of Origin Arceus called a meeting to see how Ash was doing and when they saw him in critical condition. Arceus has Hoopa bring them to the hall of origin to save them. However the damage had already been done. Ash was barely alive and seeing him like this made everyone upset, one more than the others.
