A compfy, slice-of-life style, gay love story between two childhood friends- Zac Archit and Daniel Koch. The two have known each other since preschool, but for the past few years they've both been hiding something from one another- a crush. It's gotten to a point, where it's seriously affecting Zac and worsening his pre-existing mental issues. With the help of his good friend, Molly, he finally decides to spit it out and confess to Daniel. When Max's parents go on vacation, he decides to spend the week with his best friend, Lilly, who also happens to be the sister of his long-time straight crush. Spending seven days with Lilly, Jake and his girlfriend during the summer break before college starts can't be that bad, right? 'Imagine falling in love with a straight guy. Well, that's exactly what I did. It's a story as old as time, and I'm trying my best to get over him, but the fact that his sister is my best friend doesn't help, along with his suspiciously odd girlfriend that keeps popping up at inconvenient times. We really are failing at crushing 101- falling for someone you can never have.' CONTENT WARNING: My characters enjoy cursing (thanks, Jake), and this story delves into darker topics such as mental health, issues faced by minority groups, includes violence and more.
